He has served as a visiting professor to over 100 universities around the globe. He has authored the main reference textbook for brain bypass surgery titled “Cerebral Revascularization” in which Dr. Abdulrauf details extra-cranial to intracranial bypass surgery. Additionally, he has pioneered a procedure for brain bypass surgery that is named after him.

First Deputy Director of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Research Medical Center 'Gerontology'", Head of the Department of Therapy, Geriatrics, and Anti-Aging Medicine at the Institute of Clinical Gerontology of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor. A.N. Ilnitskiy is the creator of his own scientific gerontological school. Under his supervision, 2 dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences and 6 dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences have been prepared and defended.
YEKATERINA MIRONOVA
Yekaterina Mironova leads the Laboratory of Molecular Neuroimmunoendocrinology at the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Phthisiopulmonology, under the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. Widely recognized for her expertise, Dr. Mironova specializes in molecular and cellular gerontology, neuroimmunoendocrinology, and the biophysics of intercellular interactions. With a prolific publication record, she has authored or co-authored more than 120 scientific papers and holds 4 patents. In recognition of her contributions to the field, Dr. Mironova was honored with the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) Prize for Young Scientists in Russia for outstanding work in gerontology in 2020. Her impactful research has also earned her the Certificate of Appreciation from the Committee on Science and Higher Education of St. Petersburg in 2023.
DMITRY SEMENOV
Dmitriy Semenov was the first surgeon in Russia to perform successful operations using robotic systems, including resection of the thyroid gland and thyroidectomy through remote (axillary) access, kidney and adrenal gland resections, as well as adrenalectomy with extraperitoneal access and thoracoscopic mobilization of mediastinal goiter with subsequent cervical access. He also became one of the first surgeons in Russia to perform robotic surgeries for diaphragmatic hernias (Nissen operation), surgeries for obesity including longitudinal gastric resection, distal resections of the pancreas preserving the spleen vessels, right and left hemicolectomies, as well as low anterior resections of the rectum and rectal extirpations.
