It was a pleasure to participate at Nobel Fest and I am grateful for the chance to participate.
It indeed was interesting, informative and highly worthwhile: all of the above.
Michael Spence
American Economist, Nobel Prize in Economics, 2001
What's going to happen in 20-30 years is that there will be students who will say "I got my Nobel Prize because I got to listen to a free lecture in 2021 of a Nobel Laureate who inspired me to go study something I was interested in" and that is how it is really going to work.
This inclusive knowledge is really our fantastic opportunity. I think Nobel Fest is a tremendous initiative and it's a kind of initiative where we should also work with the big companies, telecom industry, the UN, and others to grant access for every child at least in a device where they can watch Nobel Fest with free connectivity so that they can become Nobel Prize winners in the future.
Jeffrey Sachs
American Economist World-renowned expert
I enjoyed our event
I think evidence and logical thinking are at the heart of solving every single one of the challenges we now see in society. I see brilliant people everywhere and I want to help them to find their opportunities for learning and contributing to our worldwide community. Public health, economic prosperity, climate change, resource availability, freedom and justice – they all depend on finding the truth. Nobel Fest is one way to enable our future leaders to grow into their responsibilities.
John Mather
American astrophysicist, Nobel Prize in Physics, 2006
Educational events such as the Central Asia Nobel Fest are important because we believe that young people should have an equal opportunity to access the development of current science.
Through these activities, many of them show interest in scientific research, which is the key to the development of the countries and humanity
Takaaki Kajita
Japanese physicist, Nobel Prize in Physics, 2015
There are many different conferences and festivals that are held currently in the online format.
However, Nobel Fest is a very special festival for me, because the organizers created a platform, invited Nobel Laureates and people with professional backgrounds and experience in different industries. The platform is very unique and I believe it's a very cool opportunity to listen, ask questions and participate in open discussions simultaneously! There were no such possibilities during my youth, and for that reason, Nobel Fest is a very cool opportunity for young scientists and students!
Umut Shayakhmetova
Chairwoman of HALYK BANK
The platforms like Nobel Fest play a huge role in developing different aspects:
Firstly, in terms of bringing people together Secondly, in terms of finding like-minded people among participants and the emergence of projects in the future that can change the world at the local level, or even at the global level.
